Going first week in May, what should we do? Fiftysomething gay couple here, NOT looking for dick.

I cannot imagine a week in P Town.
Thank God for Boston only a boat trip away. I can think of a lot of things you can do there.
One thing you could do in P Town is visit anything connected with Mary Oliver, our country's most popular poet. She lived there with her lover, and died in 2019.

Rent bikes and tour the Cape Cod National Seashore, then visit Truro and Wellfleet. Ride the side streets and quaint back alleys of Ptown.
Hike the dunes.
Go to Herring Cove Beach and enjoy the solitude before the summer crowds arrive.
Go on a whale watch.
Go up Pilgrim Monument, then view the museum.

See a show! Maybe Miss Richfield or Dina Martina. I’d go to Tea Dance at the Boat Slip just to try it. Nice having a drink in the sun. Jimmys Hideaway or the Lobster Pot for dinner one night. Definitely go to the beaches, especially Race Point.
