I read that he used to wrestle for gay-oriented (shall we say) BGEast videos,under a different name. Prince Devitt, maybe? The videos with him were supposedly removed once he got his mainstream push.

No idea about his sexuality, though. Some of BGEast's wrestlers have reportedly been straight, or "flexible."

Wrestling fans are confused as hell over his pro-LGBT promo at WrestleMania, only because there's never been any talk or indication of him being gay, and the WWE does have an out wrestler on the roster, a woman wrestler named Sonia Deville. It would have made more sense for her to do that promo. But whatever, if he's cool with it, gay or straight, so am I.
