Final Destination is 20 years old!
Andrew Hansen
I remember sneaking in with a couple of my friends (we were in junior high) after the film my friend was driving he was so freaked out he actually ran the red light. We got stopped by a cop explain to him we just saw a scary movie but he didn't give a shit and gave him a ticket anyway.
My favorite death scene was the one with the teacher teacher. I think she deserved it cuz she was a real cunt to Alex. Plus she looked really retarded throwing that coffee cup full of water that was on her CRT monitor.
I also liked it when the girl gets hit by the bus.

I need to revisit this franchise. I can't remember much of the first 2 movies. I did like number 3 and 5.

FD 1 - Originally based on a spec script written for X-Files. The writer is it gay black man. Yaaas girl! He also wrote the film Tamara and the remake of I spit on your grave. Awesome film that started it all.
Fd 2 - very action-oriented. It was directed by a stunt coordinator and you can tell. It was okay.
Fd 3 - a fun film but shamelessly steals it's photography concept from The Omen.
Fd 4 - meh. They have to mix up the scares because you already know what to expect. Surprisingly racist
Fd5 - IMO, the weakest of the bunch. CGI is really bad did you find out at the end how it ties everything together. Might be interesting only if you are a Nicholas D'Agosto.fan

Wow, thanks for the reminder, OP. Can't believe it.
I always thought the first film was very clever.

Where was that from? R3
I remember him from Election and that episode of Cold Case where he falls in love with a tranny. And Final Destination 5, of course.

R5 I'm not sure, but if you really want to see something go watch Masters Of Sex.

I haven't seen Tamara, but I know there's a scene where Jenna makes 2 guys have sex with each other. I guess that part makes alot more sense now lol

You sound like a real charmer.

When it's 2040 ok, then I will think it's old. I will be close to 60 then. 😊
That will be 20 years away. Again. Then I can be one of those sweet old people that are so nice. We'll all be going to the secret in the sky.

I checked out after Part 2, but I have to say the whole sequence on the highway at the beginning of 2 is really well filmed and edited. And creepy.

The third was always my favorite. Cool kills, biting humor, and moments that were way scarier than anything else in the series (the song they chose as death's mark was perfect). I've always loved the transition between the scene with two Hilton-esque girls burning in side-by-side tanning beds to their matching caskets. Brutal, but funny as all hell. The movie gets the tone right better than any of the other films in the series.

Part 3 is my least favorite for some reason. I think because there was no hot guy for me to ogle.
Part 1 : Kerr Smith, Seann William Scott, Brendan Fehr briefly (never found twink Devon Sawa attractive)
Part 2 : Michael Landes
Part 4 : Bobby Campo, Nick Zano
Part 5 : Nicholas D'Agosto, Miles Fisher

I came here to say how much I loved FD3, because it had the best accident sequence in the whole franchise and because of that crazy overhead shot where tanning beds turn into coffins (a not-so-subtle dig at the cancer risk they present, perhaps?), but I see R12 beat me to it. We're practically soulmates, pal. I think we should have babies together.
And I went to check out the film's IMDb page just now and saw Cory Monteith's name listed among the cast, playing someone named "Kahill"; I've honestly seen the film at least 6 times and never noticed he was in it. I then found the clip of his big scene on YT and realized why I never spotted him: he's in it for exactly 5 seconds.

And he's played a teenager for over a decade. It's a stupid movie but i loved Fired Up.

Love these movies - total guilty pleasure.

OP writes like he is still The teenager in that car pulled over by the police.

I always loved the 4th one, The Final Destination (also known as the 3D one), mainly because I crush hard for Bobby Campo. He's sex on a stick. My bluray came with the cheesy cardboard 3D glasses. The 3D is actually well done in that movie. Wish I would have seen it in the theater.
