Favorite Sesame Street Muppet?

Writer Andrew Hansen

A companion thread. I'm putting Kermit on both.

I'm not including Elmo, because if Elmo is your favorite Muppet then I don't want to know you.

Oops! I had to leave Kermit off. Sorry. Vote for him on the other thread.

My parents used to call me Cookie Monster when I was a toddler 🤔

Janice, always and forever Janice.

Was Janice ever on "Sesame Street"? She was mostly on "The Muppet Show"--vote for her on the other poll, r3.

Oscar isn't a monster, he's a grouch, which is an entirely different species.

No question about it - Bip Bippadotta.

A close second would be Guy Smiley.

Can we count extra characters on the hilarious adults only The Muppets that aired on ABC in 2015 and is on Disney+ now? Featuring an epic feud between Miss Piggy and Reece Witherspoon. There is no way Piggy will EVER forgive Reece for stealing the leading lady role in ‘Walk the line’ straight out from under her trotters!

I declined to reply to your other thread, OP, because I've never had much use for 'The Muppet Show', its cast of characters, or its movie adaptations. For me, 'Sesame Street' was far more entertaining - not just its Muppets, but various filmed and animated segments.

In 1976, I greatly enjoyed seeing my then-four-year-old brother, who was born autistic and who, for the most part, lived in his own little world, often unresponsive to his own name, become totally transfixed by a short drama 'Sesame Street' aired, today commonly called "Milk Crisis":

Gonzo and Camilla. Lovely couple. Also, Swedish Chef and Ratso Rizzo.

by Anonymousreply 14August 7, 2020 3:36 PM

Gonzo, Camilla, Swedish Chef, and Ratso Rizzo were all not on Sesame Street.

A lot of fat whores on this thread can't read. It's Sesame Street, you stretch marks, not The Muppet Show.

Another 'Bip Bippadotta' favorite - "Some, All, and None":

Elmo. Know me by my name. Say it out loud.

I want to marry Grover but I'd let Herry Monster fuck me
