I'm not talking body tattoos, or neck tattoos; I'm talking tattoos on the actual face.

Over the past few years, more and more celebrities have acquired them: Presley Gerber , Lil Wayne, Amber Rose, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Cardi B, even Drake. Yet they still pretty much disqualify most non-celebrities for jobs.

Will they ever be widely socially acceptable?

Face tattoos are just sad and unfortunate. When I see a face tattoo especially on a young person, it makes me sick and full of despair for that person. Neck and hand tattoos too, but especially the face.

I recently saw a young guy with one of those spacer ear things. Almost 3 inches in diameter so he must have been working on it for a while.

He looked stupid.

It's not like he could just take it out and have a normal looking ear.

I think he had tatts, too.

The other thing I've noticed recently is guys in their 40s and 50s with Ned Kelly bush ranger style beards that are almost a foot long. No. Just no.

Often they can. three inches may be stretching the ear out too far, but plus that are an inch or even two inches in diameter can be taken out and the hole will shrink back to normal size reasonably quickly, so there's only a slit left where the hole used to be.
