Adult Retail clerks deserve scorn. They are sub-humans without any sense of self respect. These people allow their lives to be dead ended with no ambition or thought for the future. Also: I get a kick out of the clerks in high end shops - the attitudes! It might as well be Walmart. I tried to be friends with one of those vile people & had to give it up: he couldn’t afford anything & was bitter that others could. I reminded him shop boys don’t get to go on expensive vacations. They can go to Coney Island for the day. He made his bed & all that.

I once worked at a coffee shop and the coffee was so good people would show up at 6:30 and at 6:31 they’d start rapping on the door if you didn’t open it, it was like a scene from a zombie movie.

One time a woman rapped on the door so hard her diamond fell out.

A friend posted the link on Facebook and I showed it to a co-worker who complains a lot the way Ikea guy does. I knew he would love it. It set him off and he went on his own rant of crowd favorites. A good time was had by all.

To the assholes dissing retail workers, I'm retired from a professional career and work part time in retail because I enjoy it, as do more than a few of my co-workers. We're in an antiques collective. One of us is a retired astrophysics professor, we also have teachers and medical professionals among us. One of my friends, after a successful career as an illustrator is looking for work in customer service because he feels isolated. Plus, there are many retail clerks on their way to better things and those who are just very happy to have a job.

So retail clerk bashers, STFU.

Who, Scott Seiss? There's nothing about him online except this "angry Ikea guy" thing and a few improv performances, plus college stuff from a few years ago. He's a social media manager and animator, primarily.

There are a lot of people who have videos that get millions of views, but the likely reality here is that THIS guy got millions of views because he's a social media manager and knows how to play the game. Maybe it'll manifest into a big stand-up career for him, but probably not. Lots of people who did well on Vine or Youtube or TikTok think they've got a ready-made career and they don't, not these days. For better or worse, it's not 2007 anymore and you can't parlay your TWoP gig into a big career.
