Wellesley, MA Dr. Dirk Greineder murder his wife May during their morning walk on October 31, 1999. Police discovered his double life: hardcore pornography, prostitutions, falsely registered credit cards, and many other uncomfortable things.

May looked like a sweet lady.

The three children were supporting their father during the trial. I wonder what they think today, 20 years after a murder conviction and life in prison sentence.

Reminds me of the Martin MacNeill case. Dr. MacNeill killed his wife in order to be with his trashy mistress.

R6- It was very sad because she knew he was cheating on her. In a desperate attempt to keep him she had plastic surgery. She was recovering from that surgery when he killed her.

My parents were living in Wellesley at the time and had actually gone for a walk at Morse’s Pond Earlier that day. They didn’t know them, but knew people who did. To say everyone was shocked is in understatement.

He wasn’t the first or last murderer in the Harvard Med School/affiliated hospitals system. There’s a book “Almost a Psychopath” written by, guess who, an HMS associate professor who is a psychiatrist at Mass General Hospital. I’ve often thought he didn’t have to go far from his office to get his source material.
