I feel a little sorry for him because he is so obviously damaged and profoundly unhappy, but he is intensely annoying in his lack of gratitude for the immensely privileged life he leads: it’s a life handed to him on a plate by the family he so despises.

After the UN debacle I’ve noticed on an anti-Sussex subreddit a trend towards sympathy for Dimwit. I just don’t feel that at all: he is a truly awful person, entitled from birth, with his keeper whose entitlement stems from her malignant narcissism and her delusion that she’s the savioress of all humankind. We used to have two masssive ongoing threads on here: BRF with 100+ parts, and then when Meghan came on the scene, Dangling Tendrils, with over 50+ parts. Then Celebitchy alerted the rabid, self-declared "murderous" Sussex Squad that they needed to swarm the DL for daring to question Meghan, and in response to the swarms, Muriel started shutting the central threads down.

I'm grateful he found a strong, resilient and beautiful partner to share his life with. Diana would certainly approve. Of his marriage, and of their leaving the BRF. Remember that Diana wanted out even before she married Charles? How different her life might be.
Meghan is make of stronger stuff and lacks the neurosis of Harry, William, Diana and Charles. Her love and beauty saved Harry in my opinion. Twenty million dollars is not a lot of money to last even 10 years. Naturally they must use their celebrity for both humanitarian causes and to fight for social change. They are also entitled to capitalize on their notoriety and the public's love for them. Barack and Michelle lay around on yachts and count their BILLIONS! Pay people to implement their BIG SAFE SOCIAL PLANS. Now, those two are a disappointment to everyone, especially black people.
Harry and Meghan are LOVED. Their marriage was a great risk. They could never imagine the hate and lies and harassment and sabotage they were in for. From his OWN family. Bravo to them for leaving and getting the fuck out.
Montecito is not the worst place to live your life and raise a beautiful family. Meghan is a strong, formidable and wise young woman. Harry would be adrift without her. An old drunk like his dad, step mom, aunts and uncles. Meghan's love gives him purpose and confidence.
True romantic love makes people Brave. Poor Diana never had that in her life.❤

The Tindalls both have careers, and that requires hard work and talent. They are great hands-on parents and have earned -- that's right, earned -- the respect of the Brits. R92 I only agree halfway on this. Charles didn't turn into a disappointment until he made that one huge mistake that is still casting its shadow over the Windsors and the monarchy, and that was marrying Diana. Had he married happily, a great deal of what has clouded his chanced of being enthusiastically received after HM is raptured wouldn't have happened. Charles has been miserable since his honeymoon - we're talking all those years of his first marriage, the years after the marriage, after Diana's death . . . only Camilla kept him on the rails.
Harry, I agree, is rather more than a disappointment: he's a tragedy. On any scale you reference: human, male, familial, public, private . . . Harry, in relationship to the opportunities he was born to, is a tragedy.
