I remember that he had a reputation for being homophobic.

Later, he supposedly officiated at a mass gay wedding.

Then on Diner's Drive-In's and Dives, he actually had the first gay male couple to be legally married in the state of Utah, on DDD.

I only ask, because I had heard his show was nominated for an Emmy this year, which was a surprise to me.

So do we still hate him?

He actually makes me laugh.

I can see why he's all over the Food Network, because he has a HUGE personality.

I enjoy watching his shows, more than I do pretty much any other FN hosted show.

The gay couple are Moudi Sbeity and Derek Kitchen, who own "Laziz Kitchen" in Salt Lake City, Utah.
