R43 I would agree, but before they brought in the rule there were often big championship races where they were getting 3, 4 and even 5 false starts as all athletes in the field were granted 1 false start each. It was becoming a joke as there was no real disincentive. Since they introduced the rule false starts are pretty rare.

R45 With sensors as sensitive as they are now, I think they should go back to the middle ground - one false start granted to the field and subsequent individual DQs after that. Devon didn’t even flinch, same with the woman runner from the Bahamas.

He looks white. He self-identifies as "Black." Is being white or Black strictly about one's appearance to others? Because I used a lot of tanning lotion, afro wigs and braided hair extensions to be Black but other people still insist on calling me white.
