"Desperation Boulevard"
Daniel Martin
I stumbled across this last night and really enjoyed it — a microbudget comedy starring Judy Tenuta as a desperate former child star trying to make a comeback. There's some great callbacks to "Sunset Boulevard," especially the card game. Lots of surprise cameos.
Has anyone else seen this? I'd never heard of it. Here's a link to the whole thing on YouTube (it's not just a scene as the caption says).

No one else? I'd think a comedy where Erin Moran (playing herself) accepts an Oscar for her role in a Tarantino movie would hold a little DL interest.

I walked out of this movie at the Beverly Center in 1998

I remember liking Judy Tenuta when I was younger. Her brashness, her ridiculous stories… I still quote her “Cosmo! The house wasn’t laughing AT you!” when it’s appropriate.
But I think thag was based one one, maybe two, performances. As she was circling the drain I watched many of the clips people posted and found her tiresome. She still came off as likable and fun, but tiresome and not entirely unfunny.
I got about 3mins into this movie and couldn’t stand her.
