Does anyone remember this abomination of a song? I was in elementary school when it came out and I remember there was a rumor that the little girl who sang it was a child abuse victim telling her story. I turned out she was a young performer who sang Christian music in the Dallas area.

Very trashy American song for Midwestern / Southerners. I imagine people who are moved by this live in trailers or have a lot of Elvis Presley plates hung on their walls.
