Ava Lawson
He announced this morning on MSNBC.

Daniel Goldman's father is Richard W. Goldman and his mother is Susan Sachs, so he is Goldman Sachs.
| by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 16, 2021 8:19 PM |
He is such a HOT daddy, but he was somehow hotter when the camera would show him in profile while he sat at the desk on whatever MSNBC shows he was on, pre-Covid.
I love him, but I’m not sure about his campaign video focusing on his passion for social justice issues. People are concerned about rising crime in NY more than they’re concerned about the criminals themselves, know what I mean?
| by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 16, 2021 8:22 PM |
No wonder he has such a nice apartment.
| by Anonymous | reply 4 | November 16, 2021 8:23 PM |
Goldman....Goldman...hmmm
| by Anonymous | reply 6 | November 16, 2021 8:24 PM |
Democratic candidates used to make such announcements at Union halls in front of blue collar working men and women.
Now their audience is the millionaire MSNBC pundits.
| by Anonymous | reply 7 | November 16, 2021 8:24 PM |
He has FIVE kids. That’s a lot of fuckin’.
I get the impression he’s hung BIG, too.
| by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 16, 2021 8:26 PM |
Supposedly, Zephyr Teachout and Andy Cuomo are also running.
Is Tish James gonna weigh in at all?
| by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 16, 2021 8:33 PM |
She’s going for Governor.
| by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 16, 2021 8:35 PM |
R2, but he isn't of that fame. His great-grandfather was president of Levi-Strauss.
| by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 16, 2021 8:42 PM |
(And I knew you were just making a funny, R2)
| by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 16, 2021 8:43 PM |
So Great Grand Pop was a Strauss from the jeans family?? I love wealthy Jewish family history!!
| by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 16, 2021 8:53 PM |
Three words: woman of color
That's all Dem primaries are about.
| by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 16, 2021 9:01 PM |
I love getting me sum "married Jewish dick". Always unfaithful to their wives. Just don't take them seriously...never fall in LOVE with them!!
| by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 16, 2021 9:05 PM |
R14, not a Strauss. His great-grandmother was the great-niece of the original Strauss. His great-grandfather who married her was the president and one of the people credited with making it what it became as he was president for almost 40 years.
Strauss himself had no kids and gave the company to his nephews - one of whom was Daniel's great-grandmother's father. The great-grandfather but was there at the beginning when they were smaller company.

| by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 16, 2021 9:19 PM |
That Jewish boy has been shooting out a lot of jizz...
Married twice. Two kids with the first wife, Olympic diver and Canada native Anne Montminy, member of the Haas family that owns Levi Strauss & Co., married in 2002, divorced in 2008. In 2013, he married Corinne Levy. They have had three children. In March 2020, Goldman announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19. Not divorced yet.

He was very impressive during the impeachment hearings. It was a pleasure to listen to him.
| by Anonymous | reply 21 | November 16, 2021 9:39 PM |
Love him to pieces. Brains on steroids. He has my support.
| by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 16, 2021 9:43 PM |
R10 Zephyr Teachout AGAIN?
Just because her parents gave her that dumbass name doesn't make her special.
| by Anonymous | reply 25 | November 16, 2021 9:51 PM |
According to Wikipedia He prosecuted Genovese crime family mobsters, including Fotios Geas, in 2011.
So I assume he won't be getting the mob vote.

Don't know where you live, but here in NYS large portion of "blue collar" working class are conservative if not straight up GOP. Trades, LE, Fire department, etc...
What remains on democratic side are largely healthcare and few other unions and or members who tend to vote for those who promise and deliver most goodies.
| by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 16, 2021 10:28 PM |
Never liked current NYS AG, but the James woman is making a huge bet she can sweep primaries next year and win governor's race. If she loses this race that will be end (for now) of her political career.
| by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 16, 2021 10:31 PM |
If James makes nothing happen with Trump, she won't get my vote. If there are no actual prosecutions of Trump family members, then it was all bloviating.
| by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 16, 2021 11:00 PM |
James got Cuomo out, which in of itself has earned her some cred from democrats in Albany and elsewhere in state.
Her problem is that open NYS governor spot doesn't happen that often. Well it did nearly twelve years ago after Spitzer was bounced out and Patterson took over. But the latter had nearly four years to make his mark before running for election himself. Cuomo beat Patterson, and that was all she wrote.
At last count there were three declared candidates for NYS governors' race in 2022. Hochul, James and now Jumaane Williams, who buy the way was just elected as NYC public advocate, a term that begins in 2022.
It is early days and more democrats likely are going to come out of woodwork in New Year, resulting in what could be a nasty and messy primary run for democrats.
We've already got two coloured persons looking to be first such as governor in NYS. James and current governor aiming to be first female elected as same.
There is bound to be one or more woke, left, socialist democrat a la AOC entering this race as well adding to the mix.
| by Anonymous | reply 32 | November 16, 2021 11:11 PM |
He's got big arms, shoulders, and chest.
| by Anonymous | reply 33 | November 16, 2021 11:40 PM |
He is soo HOT, got my vote!

[quote] Daniel Goldman's father is Richard W. Goldman and his mother is Susan Sachs, so he is Goldman Sachs.
Talk about coincidences after I typed the above, I received a letter from Capital One that my credit card account has been sold to Goldman Sachs.
| by Anonymous | reply 35 | November 17, 2021 1:15 AM |
Knew Goldman Sachs bought GM credit card division from Capital One. Hope things stop there....
You could be worse off, Capital One could have sold your account off to General Electric consumer credit.....
| by Anonymous | reply 36 | November 17, 2021 1:18 AM |
I am surprised they haven't cancel that card, I almost never use it.
| by Anonymous | reply 37 | November 17, 2021 1:20 AM |
Daniel S. Goldman has a rather impressive lineage and background.
Number of children is due to two from previous marriage (ended in divorce), then having three more with current wife.
Have no information regarding Mr. Goldman's tackle, but as stated often on DL never under estimate Jewish guys...

If nothing else Rhoda Haas Goldman (the grandmother) would be an illustrious enough relation. But pile on David Stern and his brother in-law Levi Strauss, and you've got some pretty strong fire power.

Keep an eye on it, usually after card is sold it isn't unusual for new owner to perhaps take a new look at existing and new accounts to see if there is room for improvement.
Basically have most of my cards in sock drawer, just use AMEX. Have few with good cash back rewards that pull out as necessary.
| by Anonymous | reply 40 | November 17, 2021 1:45 AM |
I would do him any day of the week. Where do I vote?

[quote]There is bound to be one or more woke, left, socialist democrat a la AOC entering this race as well adding to the mix.
I'd rather have her ilk running than the overwhelming majority of the white fucking trash of the MTG, Gosar and Boebart variety in much of this country who have to to do like a fucking hot dog eating contest using Trump's shit to see who can eat the most shit to even qualify to run in any race.
| by Anonymous | reply 42 | November 17, 2021 1:50 AM |
R40, it is just a back up card, the rewards are a discount on a new GM vehicle and since I am 70, I am not sure I will be buying any new vehicles. I might but my 2017 vehicle only has 6000 miles on it, so it is doubtful I will be needing a new vehicle any time soon, or even if I do it will be a GM vehicle. I have an 835 credit rating so if they cancel I doubt I shouldn't have a problem finding a new card.
I didn't even know Goldman Sachs had a credit card business.

Ohhh yes!
Like American Express Goldman Sachs is a bank/financial services company.
They do personal loans via their Marcus brand.

He's big and muscular, but not as big and strong as MSNBC's Chris Hayes.
| by Anonymous | reply 45 | December 5, 2021 3:54 PM |
Get the fuck outta here, R45.
| by Anonymous | reply 46 | December 5, 2021 4:02 PM |
I am not a NYer but would love to have an anti-Trump activist as AG.
| by Anonymous | reply 47 | December 5, 2021 4:14 PM |
I'll vote for him...and I like Hochul a lot too. Whatever happens, Ms James is not going to be elected Gov, mark my words.
| by Anonymous | reply 48 | December 5, 2021 4:35 PM |
R7 that's the saddest thing I have ever heard. You've put your finger on the biggest problem in America.
| by Anonymous | reply 49 | December 5, 2021 7:19 PM |
Since Letitia James pulled out of the Gov race to run again for Attny Gen. Dan Goldman is now pulling out of the Attny Gen race, they are announcing it on Dead Line: White House on MSNBC.
| by Anonymous | reply 51 | December 10, 2021 8:14 PM |
That is a shame, Daniel would have been a great AG! Not an "attention-seeking whore" like the current AG!!
| by Anonymous | reply 52 | December 10, 2021 8:24 PM |
Yeah but we get to see him more on MSNBC now. Maybe he will get a show, I know, doubtful, but a guy can wish can't he.
| by Anonymous | reply 53 | December 10, 2021 8:27 PM |
Wow, R51. That was fast. They just said on TV this morning that James getting back in the race could not have made the other candidates for AG happy. So Daniel is already jumping ship, huh? Too bad, I just love him and was looking forward to voting for him. Did he give some made-up reason or did he actually say it was because James is back in?
| by Anonymous | reply 54 | December 10, 2021 8:29 PM |
[quote] Did he give some made-up reason or did he actually say it was because James is back in?
Nicolle made the announcement and said they will discuss it later, so far they haven't gotten to it, Daniel is on set and time is running out for this hour of her show so I expect it will be coming up soon.
| by Anonymous | reply 55 | December 10, 2021 8:46 PM |
Thanks, R55. I will see if I can catch it.
| by Anonymous | reply 56 | December 10, 2021 8:48 PM |
Nicolle just said they will discuss his getting out of the race after the commercial break.
| by Anonymous | reply 57 | December 10, 2021 8:49 PM |
He should have stayed in the race and primaried that useless cunt Letitia James. She ain't doing shit about Trump, she only uses his name to raise money from gullible Democrats who think she's hot on Trump's tail.
| by Anonymous | reply 58 | December 10, 2021 8:53 PM |
Daniel Goldman did the politically correct thing and said that Attorney General James was doing a great job and that he only got into the race because she was running for Gov., now that she was no longer running he got out. He also said he was overwhelmed with the amount of support he had gotten in the three short weeks of his campaign.
| by Anonymous | reply 59 | December 10, 2021 8:59 PM |
Don’t disappear, Daniel.
| by Anonymous | reply 60 | December 10, 2021 9:02 PM |
I would rather see Daniel Goldman as US AG than Merrick Garland.
| by Anonymous | reply 61 | December 10, 2021 9:10 PM |
Yes R51! Him or Preet Bharara. They’d both be fabulous.
Suozzi needs to drop out of the Governor’s race now too and stay put in the House where he belongs. I can’t imagine Jumaane Williams thinks he actually has a shot to be Governor. My guess is he just wants to increase his name recognition at this point.
I don’t get the Tish James hate. That woman took on the NRA and won. And she is going after Mango Mussolini. Yes it’s frustratingly slow, but I’d rather she act carefully and get him than give him any sort of “win” by being overly hasty.
| by Anonymous | reply 62 | December 10, 2021 9:25 PM |
I was so enthusiastic about Daniel Goldman becoming NY AG, but I love the prospect of a strong black woman as the one who brought down that whole Trump crime syndicate. That will really bother Trump more than if it was a handsome Jewish man.
