It depends. Initially more appealing, but only if the pet isn’t a prop for likes and has good care. People should get the dog that is an appropriate match for their space and lifestyle. If you work 10 hour days and live in a one bedroom, don’t get a GSD, Siberian husky, Newfie even to make your lil’ dick look bigger. Maybe get a cat. Also, no member of the pibble nutter cult under any circumstance.

I always think when a gay man has a dog that it's a sign he's given up - usually the people I know with pets have chucked the love of or the pursuit of the love of a good man for the much more reliable love of a good dog.

Charlie is adorable but I can’t help but sympathize with his obvious objection to his surroundings. I respect the attempt at clean contemporary fixtures and finishes, but Charlie thinks his dads are uninspired or just lazy.

There are three different kinds of cabinet and range hood LED lights. Strips and pucks which fluoresce at different warmths. The three visible major appliances are different series, or different manufacturers altogether, hence the shades of stainless steel and the handles, knobs, and lines don’t match. The (faux?) RH cloche pendant lights are burnished brass and furiously screaming at the stainless steel appliances…

The most Charlie gives them credit for is being tidy, storing small appliances off the counters and keeping the upper glass paneled cabinets free of useless objet, which is never touched or dusted. Oh, and thank goodness the pendants and boxed ceiling lights aren’t illuminated, or there’d be five fixtures mud wrestling like a country bar in Amarillo.

If only Charlie could tell them, they don’t need to light all their fixtures at once, unless they want to spend the $300 to fix the issue
