How are any of these 'parties' any different than any run-of-the-mill blackout night at your local bathhouse? 95% of them are held at bathhouses.

I went to one in a Dallas with a friend when they used to have them in Dallas. It was in a warehouse district in a space that had been converted to a BDSM play space. The people who rented the space and created the play space sublet it to other groups. I’m not sure what group was responsible for hosting the cumunion party but they were very organized. They did have people there to monitor the goings on and make sure no one was using drugs or doing something they shouldn’t. Poppers were allowed and the air was thick with that popper smell. No smoking inside but there was an outdoor smoking area. The time I went there must have been at least 75-100 men of all shapes and sizes there. Sex going on everywhere. Most of it was bareback and I’m just not into that but most everyone else was. I decided to spend the evening just enjoying the view and watching the fucking going on. I just didn’t feel that comfortable. I did enjoy some mutual masturbation but that was it for me. My friend, on the other hand, was a whore, darlin. Never went back but I did enjoy the view the night I went.

I'd never intended to go to one, but my stay at CCBC happened to coincide with one of their "events." It was not organized or coordinated at all -- just lots and lots of gang-banging and barebacking, mostly outdoors.

R9 - given that the cummunion parties are clearly advertised as bareback orgies - why on earth were you there if you weren’t comfortable with bareback sex?

I mean - they are what they say on the label. You being there - and not being into that - but just hanging around and ‘enjoying the view’ must’ve been a bit of a bore - or just plain creepy! - for everyone else - doncha think? Sheesh!
