This is how AHS should have ended:

- Constance enters Michael's bedroom to find the dead priest. She loses her shit again; Michael, at first upset and frightened, snaps and kills her this time. Afterwards, he is horrified and remorseful.

- Constance's ghost appears with Tate and the other children by her side. She tells Michael to get out. She was meant to raise monsters but he is too much, too evil. He's not her grandson and she doesn't love him. Tate yells at Michael that he could never have created something as evil as him. Also tells him to get out, he's not wanted. Michael cries that he wants to be good; he doesn't understand why he does what he does. Constance is surrounded by her 4 children and embracing them, opposite Michael who is alone and rejected.

- Michael runs out of the house into the street, falls to his knees and begins sobbing, completely lost. Mallory drives towards him on the street with the intention of killing him, but she doesn't see the Antichrist in front of her; she sees a broken little boy. She stops the car and gets out.

-Mallory confronts Michael. He tells her he is all alone, he wants to be good, everyone he loves leaves him, and he doesn't understand why. He's scared. He asks for help. He's a six year old in his mind, so he clings to her and sobs. Mallory has a ritual knife tucked into her clothes and she starts to pull it out, remembering why she's there in the first place, but Michael's genuine grief stays her hand.

- Mallory decides to put him in the Range Rover and take him to Cordelia.

- Mallory is able to explain the situation to Cordelia using magic to make her 'remember' the gist of the original plot. Mallory knows that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, so if they kill Michael now, they'll just wind up with a new Antichrist being born in a few years, and not know where he is this time. Better to deal with the devil you know, so to speak. Mallory wants the witches to work on Michael while he's at this vulnerable point in order to stop him from ever doing a black mass and going full Satan.

- Cordelia repeats the speech to Michael that if he takes her hand they can find his humanity together. Michael takes her hand, gladly this time. They embrace. There seems to be hope that Michael getting the love and care he always wanted will stop the Apocalypse.

- Pull out on Miss Robichaux's Academy. A murder of crows starts to encircle the house.

Since they're planning to have another season of the witches, and since Fern has indicated that he could appear on AHS again, THIS is how the show should have ended!! But what do I know, I'm not a TV writer.
