What's his story?

I always had a crush on him since he was on Top Chef.

He always set off my gaydar, but during his season, he mentioned something about a girlfriend. But I googled him and found nothing about a wife or gf. Poor guy always seemed like a troubled closet case, who had an abusive father.

Anyone know him? Anyone hooked up with him?
