Sounds like the name of a drag queen.

by Anonymousreply 2July 30, 2020 11:56 PM

What is this? And where do you get it?

by Anonymousreply 3July 30, 2020 11:57 PM

That's a type of meth, isn't it?

by Anonymousreply 4July 30, 2020 11:59 PM

R2 a morbidly obese one who eats fried chicken in the bed she can no longer get out of, but whose makeup and blonde curly wig always look flawless despite her inability to otherwise care for herself.

Being a fat whore, I probably would request it if I knew what it was, OP. I suspect it's a regional product. We can read the ingredients in your the picture, but in what part of the country is it common?

by Anonymousreply 6July 30, 2020 11:59 PM

R3 Popeyes. It makes it takes extra good.

by Anonymousreply 7July 30, 2020 11:59 PM

I like Popeye's, but it's already super heavily seasoned. I couldn't imagine putting something like this on their food as well.

Lord knows I've had plenty of Creole Shinola in my time.

by Anonymousreply 9July 31, 2020 12:08 AM

I love it! I just had Popeye's the other night. 10 pieces, 2 large sides. I love the red beans and rice, mashed potatoes, with a gravy that they are very stingy with. It was not so for me, silly gooses. It was for 3. And I still have leftover chicken in the fridge. I use 1 pack of Cajun sparkle and sprinkle it over the red beans and rice and mashed potatoes. I will sometimes pull skin off the chicken (yes, I swallow) then sprinkle some Cajun Sparkle on the chicken meat. The little packs are handy to have around to spice up green beans. Even canned greened beans, with Cajun Sparkle gives them a nice country cooked taste.

I never knew Popeyes had this?! Is it regional ?? This fat whore needs some spicy sparkle !!

by Anonymousreply 12July 31, 2020 3:53 AM

R12 they don’t really advertise it but they always have it. Only black people and fat white people know about it. You just have to ask them.

by Anonymousreply 13July 31, 2020 3:59 AM

R11 a fat whore after my own heart ;) sounds like you really know how to enjoy Popeyes.

by Anonymousreply 14July 31, 2020 3:59 AM

So it’s basically a Cajun seasoning right?

by Anonymousreply 15July 31, 2020 4:07 AM

r15 No, Rose, it’s Jamaican.

by Anonymousreply 16July 31, 2020 4:16 AM

I love this stuff. A neighbour (black lady who once worked for Popeye's) claims they don't, or didn't automatically give it out to white customers, especially if they ordered mild flavour. They had to request it.

She said very few white people even knew that it even existed, or what is was. I don't know if any of this is true, but I never received it or heard of it until I went through the drive-thru with my friend in her car. She ordered for both of us, and then I was "initiated".

If I don't ask for it, they never place it in the bag.

The things I learn on the DL!

by Anonymousreply 19July 31, 2020 5:16 AM

That was my nickname back in the days when I sucked off tourists in the French Quarter.

by Anonymousreply 20July 31, 2020 5:28 AM

OP, the rest of the country doesn't know what you are talking about. Louisiana food is a niche market confined to the South.
