This is his 2nd conviction...He was convicted of tax evasion in Germany in 2002. He was given a suspended prison sentence. He didn't learn a damn thing!!! He got what he deserved!

OP I don't think he fell into ruin because he had to pay child support.
Becker spent lavishly on homes, luxury cars, etc and then lied about his assets and illicitly made money transfers before he claimed bankruptcy to write off a lot of debt. He was shopping in Harrods the day before he was sentenced and lived in a £5m penthouse with the use of a gym, pool, and he had a £60,000 Mercedes.

I just looked up this 'sperm theft' allegation and I don't believe a word of it. I was assuming something like that she stole stored sperm but that isn't what happened. Becker had a one-off tryst with a woman called Angela Ermakova in a linen cupboard at the restaurant Nobu. He says that they had oral sex from which she somehow managed to steal sperm and impregnate herself.
DO YOU BELIEVE THIS? Just think of the logistics of that?
It sounds like Becker just didn't want to have to pay child support. He also insisted that a DNA test be taken but the child was confirmed to be his.

Germany convicted him and gave him a 2 year suspended sentence for tax evasion of well over $1m. The judge said quite rightly that Becker hadn't learnt from that.
I'm fascinated that he wore a Wimbledon tie to sentencing. Does he think that his sporting achievements should give him a pass in terms of following the law? That was kind of the message I was getting from that but I may be over-reading it.

R30, I think prenuptial agreements lose a lot of their power when a couple has children. So maybe the ex-wife of a billionaire only gets a certain number of dollars. But support and custody and lifestyle of the children cannot be determined and enforced before their existence.

Spermjacking should be a criminal offense and the victim should NEVER be responsible for the resulting child.
I get that it's not the child's fault and the courts focus on the best interests of the child, but there's something seriously wrong when there is incontrovertible evidence (there is a UK case where the guy had a written admission from the woman) and the guy is still responsible.
In those cases, it should be as if she had gone to a sperm bank and had artificial insemination.
Wasn't there some case with some celebrity a while back where the woman sued the guy because he had poured bleach or cleaner into the used condom and she had then tried to spermjack him or something?
