Staff fights are the best, whatever the cause. Tormenting Fred about Cookiepuss, mocking Jackie and his ex-wife for their homes and mail-order business. The time Sal was supposed to apologize to Howard's wife for ripping her during a roast and instead he made horse noises. Hurricane Sandy resulted in days of great arguments, as did the narcissism test.

Howard was attacked by Maury Povich when Sandy Allen went on his talk show over the personal questions Stern had asked her but at the end of this show it reveals that Sandy took it all with a grain of salt. She even repeated that statement in her book.

During his interview today with Pink, all he asked her was "were you mad at your father? Were you mad at your mother?"

Then he asked her drummer, whose parents are both dead "Were they supportive of your career".

We get it Howard, you hate your parents, particularly your father. Not everyone in the world does. As this point, he should be paying us to listen to him whine about what a shitty childhood he had.

I think HS is hands down one of the best interviewers in the business. I've listened to him for years - sometimes the humor isn't for me and I change the channel - but typically I really enjoy it - especially the interviews and when he talks about music with Gary, who has so much knowledge.

Couple of reasons why he is the best interviewer, he has very good research staff, but he also has plenty of time to actually get into a conversation whereas the other shows only have them for five minutes or so
