Are Persian guys hung?

Writer John Thompson

I know this Persian guy who wants to fuck me. He barely speaks English but he's pretty hot so I think i'm going to go for it. Have you ever been with a Persian guy? What should I expect?

No, but Persian rugs are, when they are on display at the store.

I'm not in the habit of checking out cats' genitalia.

If you're talking about Iranians, who cares if they're hung? Horses have big cocks, too, but I wouldn't fuck one.

Are Persians Iranian? That's what he calls himself.

r4 Yes, OP, crack a book sometimes. Gay culture can't live only on Sean Cody and Bravo TV.

The ones I've been with were. But be prepared for hair, a lot of hair.

by Anonymousreply 6January 2, 2018 7:57 AM

Persia has been Iran since 1935, R4. Where it gets a little complicated is that not all Iranians are Persian.

by Anonymousreply 8January 2, 2018 9:54 AM

No, Persians are Iranians, that won't admit it.

by Anonymousreply 9January 2, 2018 10:04 AM

Iranian Jews are not Persians, for instance.

by Anonymousreply 10January 2, 2018 10:16 AM

Technically perhaps R10, but they refer to themselves as Persians.

It's a semantics thing-- most of the immigrants came to the US in the early 80s right after the whole Iranian hostage thing and realized that like OP, if they called themselves "Persians" a good number of Americans wouldn't figure out that meant "Iranian"

Persia's also part of Turkey, not just Iran. Or used to be, anyway. So for someone whose ethnicity is listed as "Persian", who the fuck knows.

by Anonymousreply 12January 2, 2018 10:33 AM

From my experience very hung

r12, Persia was never part of Turkey. This is important because the border between Turkey and Iran is the only border in the Middle East that was not imposed by European imperialism. The border was established by the Battle of Chaldiran fought by the Ottomans and Safavids in 1514.

Persia is the southwest corner of Iran and is nowhere near Turkey. Iranians who are not from the southwest will sometimes refer to themselves as Persian because all Iranians speak the Persian dialect. And because it's seen as "less threatening" than the word Iran which means Land of the Aryans, especially since the 1979 revolution successfully defied Western control of the region. Sort of like how some homos prefer the safer, more passive word "gay" rather than the more uppity and strongly defiant term "queer".

Persia did include part of Turkey, r14. And the ethnic group "Persians" are from all around the area.
