Are Manhunt and A4A still active?
Robert Guerrero
I was surprised when a friend said he still used Adam4Adam and Manhunt for hookups.
Considering all the apps that have come since, does anyone here still use A4A and Manhunt??

I still use a4a. For a while, it for sure seemed pretty sad -- practically no one there except for decrepit trolls. But I think it's had a bit of a resurgence recently. There have been some attractive, down-to-earth guys. Definitely less toxic than Grindr.

I’m so used to a4a that I use it when I travel

A4A used to have a lot of minority men while manhunt was mainly white

i think older guys stayed with it in my southwestern town / plus tourism brings in new faces

Grindr is too trans-y now. I went back to A4A.

Some of my favorite FBs are from A4A.
It’s good for traveling married guys because it’s free and still mainly web based —so their wives won’t see an app on their phones

I went on A4A earlier this year and found former gay pron star Dustin Holloway there.

was he overacting like he is in that clip, R7?

Though I mostly use the apps, I still have accounts with both A4A and Manhunt, though why I don't know. Both were created years ago and there isn't much in the way of activity on either anymore.
Regarding the A4A account, it's mostly just spam and con artists now. At least once a day I'll get a message from some guy on there who sounds great, looks great, but always located 3,000 miles away, so I just punch and delete.
As for Manhunt, amazingly I never get any spam on there but the account is mostly just on life support. Nothing going on whatsoever. An occasional message here and there but that's about it.

I think I still have an A4A account, though I haven't accessed it in forever. Still occasionally see a FWB that I met through it a decade ago, though.

R9. Don't you have to pay for Manhunt?
| by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 1, 2021 9:20 PM |
R11, no, you can have a free account on Manhunt but unlike A4A, you're not given unlimited messages or the ability to enlarge photos without paying. I do think A4A, even after all of these years and so much competition, deserves a lot of credit for still allowing its subscribers to have an unlimited account the way they do. Yes, you have to put up with a lot more pop-ups than you used to (especially on the app) but the fact they still give you all that access for free is pretty amazing.

a lot of scammers on A4A contacting you out of the blue.... but there is still those of us out there who don't want to use grindr and the other apps geared for phone use.

that gif at r7 is hilarious

A4A is very active and there are far fewer scammers than some on this tread would have you believe. Plus, the range of ages and types of guys is pretty appealing; I have a few steady FBs still ongoing that i met there.

Manhunt also has an app but it's complete shit and they don't even try to improve it in any way. And don't change your password on the website because when you then try to log into the app, it will not recognize it and you will be locked out.

I've just discovered that A4A profiles now have that interesting thing about how long it typically takes the guy to respond to messages. They're definitely trying to keep up.
Still skews a little older though. The young guys around me seem to be at Sniffies.

I just noticed that, too, R17! Noticed it for the first time yesterday as a matter of fact. And I agree, they're clearly just trying to keep up with the times, which is a good thing.

Just to clarify my post at R16 above: I meant that when you update your password on the Manhunt website, you will then be locked out of the app because it will not recognize the NEW password when you put it in (it will tell you that it's "incorrect").

I still get a lot of hot tail through A4A. Haven't checked Manhunt in years.

Agree w/above. A4A has seen better days. Many trolls & fakes. Last time I had active account, almost hooked with this ex-pron actor. He flaked out, but in retrospect, think that was probably some drama averted.

Isn’t sniffles just filled with pictures of cocks and asses?
| by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 4, 2021 12:56 AM |
R21, it was likely just someone using his pictures
