Any remember vibrating beds?
William Jenkins
I recall seeing them in motels when I was a little kid.

Lotsa coin-operated vibrating sofa chairs at the airport in my city. Very relaxing.

As a kid in the 1970s I’d beg my parents for a quarter to turn it on. We slept in a lot of cheap no-brand motels when we traveled.

Weren't they called Magic Fingers? I remember an X-Files episode where Fox and Scully are in a small town motel; Scully plugs in the quarters and then Fox comes in the room, pushes her out to go perform an autopsy, and takes over the bed. All the time, the dialogue of whichever one is in the bed is all jittery/vibrating. Great episode.

Oh, yeah! My dad traveled a lot of business and he'd often take us with him for mini-vacations. All the hotels had vibrating beds then. We'd beg for quarters to turn them on. They were so stupid. Just like someone rattling the bed while you're in it, but my brothers and I loved it. Can't imagine anyone using them except for kids. Nothing sexy about it.

R5 Same here! My mom & dad would give us quarters to turn on the MAGIC FINGERS. The idea of sex never occurred to us. The beds were so noisy who could stay hard? It was like a cheap carnival ride.

Now, it’s an expensive option on beds from SleepNumber

Looks like you can buy the Magic Fingers attachment for $80.
