Any love for Jackie DeShannon here?
Christopher Lucas
You don't hear about her too much any more. She still performs.

Her career can be summed up in 3 songs: What The World Needs Now, Put A Little Love In Your Heart, and Bette Davis Eyes.
I was surprised she was also an actress. I only know this because she was in a film called "Intimacy", which I was trying to find because her co-star (an actor named Jack Ging) was supposedly nude in the movie.

She's not remembered as much of an album artist, but I like both the "Laurel Canyon" and "Jackie" LPs. There's something very likeable about her voice, with the hint of a Kentucky accent. "Jackie" was sort of her attempt at a "Dusty in Memphis."

In the 60s she dated Jimmy Page. Cute couple.

Yes, very much akin to Dusty.

I just searched for her here- Page wrote “Tangerine” for her. Is she Irish Protestant, or is that way to overthinking things?
