I don't think he's good-looking at all and I love Latino men. I didn't know he was famous for anything other than the Crown Royal commercial.

He's not for me but he looks good. Nice face and body. He's great in IN THE HEIGHTS, saw it at a preview. Knocks the acting, singing and dancing out of the park.

This guy is in everything. He’s so obviously being forced down our throats. Just like the late Chadwick Bozeman was the epitome of black leading men, they clearly want Ramos to be the epitome of Latino leading men.

There was a sequence of him on CBS Sunday Morning that will be on youtube by the afternoon. I just can’t tell if he’s attractive and talented or just very, very lucky. I do find it interesting that he’s PR, as is LMM, and playing the lead in his stead. He looks like his skin has been lightened for ItH, and honestly in all my interactions with people from DR in NYC he looks nothing like them. Did the movie people really push for someone like him to make the film more marketable and easily accepting by a white audience? This could have been a remarkable break through role for someone who could have really embodied the DR, but it seems very manipulated into having the most acceptable, but mediocre, performer for the role. I fear he may be the Latino version of Armie Hammer.

He was good as Gaga’s homo bestie in A Star is Born and he is very good in In the Heights. I hope he does not become as ubiquitous and obnoxious as LMM.
