Amy Schumer for Tampax
James Williams
I won't link the advert here, as most gold star gays like me would gay watching it and hearing about periods, spotting, etc.
So is Amy the new "Brenda Vaccaro for Playtex"-style pitch woman, or is this just a blatant cash grab to support her Autistic husband and their hild? The movie offers have dried up (much like other things with Amy have dried up). I'm not necessarily hating on her; at least she's not doing cat litter commercials like another washed-up actress.

Those tampon ads are so obscene! There is another stupid one I saw recently, I think it was for activia yogurt, that kept talking about how “women poop” and “I love pooping.”
Just nasty.

The Schumer ads are gross. She talks about having to buy larger sizes in case you leak. Ew!!!!

R2, yes. That's the line I heard when I changed the channel. And I meant the adverts will make gay men gag, not gay. We're already gay!

I'm waiting for Schumer to push Tampax Sequoias™ for women with vaginal canals so large that their children simply fell out of them.

Watching a fat, ugly chic, talk about her bleeding, swinging saloon doors?
I'll pass

Forget Amy Schumer. I like her. IMO, the most ghastly, ludicrous, unintentionally funny, embarrassed for her, TV commercial is the one Khloe Kardashian and he daughter do. Kardashian looks grotesque. So much plastic surgery, fillers, botoxxed LIPS and SO much make up, I'm talking the worst dark shade of lipstick and so many fake eyelashes she looks like a fucking horror movie clown, and she is "acting" in the commercial, and doing it very badly. I wonder how much $$ she scammed out of it. Laughably bad.

If you're Amy Schumer, you probably think "i have $10 million in the bank after everything I've ever done in my career. I can creatively participate in making the commercials funny with my friends/writers, it's on brand because talking about periods publicly is something that women do as an act of cultural boldness, it will be 5 days of work and I will earn $20 million off those 5 days of work. I will make another $20 million every single year for 3-5 days of work until they stop using me as a spokesperson.

The first time I saw it my mind went straight to that other person who wants to hang out in ladies’ rooms and preach proper tampon selection/usage to a captive audience.
If you know, you know. I don’t want to get this thread shut down.

I don’t want no white man lookin at my Tampax!

I was scandalized to learn that they’re allowing teenagers to use tampons now. Doesn’t this encourage promiscuity?

Khloe isn't even recognizable anymore. But yeah, that commercial is ridiculous with her sitting there all made up with her robe half open and digging her acrylic talons into a bowl of popcorn. Her daughter is cute, though I wonder how long before mommy makes her get work done on her face.

Criminy, we're showered with erectile disfunction, "man boosting" products, and men's grooming "tool" commercials all the fucking time. Get over it, ya delicate pansies! Amy rocks!
If you really want to get triggered, I just saw a maxi pad commercial last night, and they said the word "blood" instead of "moisture" or "your period". 😮
