Harris Dickinson is very talented. Excellent in BEACH RATS and charming in POSTCARDS FROM LONDON (though the film itself isn't much). Another vote for Stephan James as well.

I saw Fionn Whitehead in THE CHILDREN ACT with Emma Thompson, and he was impressive. Yes, he was the lead in DUNKIRK as well, but that wasn't an actor's film at all.

Lucas Hedges' "queerness" is nebulous IMO - that word salad answer about his sexuality on ELLEN was trying to have it every which way. Isn't he in the midst of some big romance with a girl?

Bran J. Smith was terrific as the Gentleman Caller in the production of GLASS MENAGERIE with fellow gays Cherry Jones and Zachary Quinto (great production too). I liked him on SENSE8, but the show is very silly and doesn't require too much in the way of acting.
