150 Central Park West. Will this happen?
Daniel Martin
I like this so much more than the boxy condo skyscrapers that are going up through out the city.

I think I've gotten to a point where if I had that kind of money, I'd buy tons of land with scenic views of nature and a modest house.

I am way too clumsy to live in a space like that. I would last a week.

It's on Central Park South, not CPW. Two different streets.

No way. I'd spend the day dizzy from all that height.

No one posting here has ever been to NYC.
It's CPS not CPW.
That building is not new construction. It's the old Hampshire House built in the 1920s.
The project is just the carving out a penthouse in the roof.
It would completely ruin the aesthetics of the building.
The building is not a super tall. It's 36 floors.

I love that the rear windows would probably have a view of the Essex House sign. So iconic NYC. Those buildings always make me think of J.D. Salinger.

The Essex House sign is up higher than the top the Hampshire House and placed to the side. It would not be visible.

I am scared of heights so this is frightening to me.

This looks terrifying. I could never live in a place like that. I'd have constant panic attacks and wake up thinking I was floating on a bed suspended in the sky.
