Tim Daly was always handsome, but he always has a "just okay" body. Never great. (Steven Webber, his WINGS co-star, had a better body during that run.) Tim was primarily "a face guy."

I always knew he was straight, because my assumption back then was that if he were actually gay, he'd have more of a "gym body." The 80s raised the stakes for men, because the growing expectation was that hunks would have both body and face.

In the 80's, I was a little obsessed with model Chris Whalley.

I first saw him in the International Male catalogue, and I could hardly believe such a beautiful man existed.
